About Hearing Loss
Hearing loss can occur at any age for a variety of reasons including family genetics, illness, noise exposure, head injury and the natural ageing process. Hearing, as with your other senses, plays an important role in your overall wellbeing and connection to the wider community.
Hearing loss, whether sudden or gradual, may have major impacts on daily life. Untreated hearing loss has been linked to impacts on mental wellbeing, increased social isolation and cognitive decline. Regular hearing health checks and early intervention by a hearing professional can help prevent negative impacts from hearing loss.
If you think that you may have a hearing loss visit your local hearing professional to discuss your concerns.
